This afternoon, Mommy and I played with paint - I created my first work of art with finger painting! I really liked smushing my hands into the paint, but as soon as my hands were dirty, I wanted Mommy to wipe the paint off.

Great day.
What a great day. We woke up and went to the zoo! I saw the giraffes, an elephant and some lions. We only stayed for an hour or two, we left in time for lunch and before it got really hot. Next time, I get to ride the train! I really liked the giraffes, they were eating and were real close to us!

Trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons!
We went to Wyoming! It was an awesome experience - Mommy and Daddy said I am a born traveler. We started our journey through the Grand Tetons and then through Yellowstone, and went all over the park. It was amazing. I learned all kinds of new words, like Moose, Bear, Elk, Danger...to name a few. Through this trip, I really started to communicate. Mommy and Daddy are amazed on how quickly I've grown. I'm really starting to interact, play, and tell you what I want!
A Moose was the first animal we saw - drinking water right by the side of the road.
We went up to the lakes and stopped to see some of the hot springs. While we were there, a few Elk came to visit, we were so close to them...it's amazing seeing such large animals living in the wild.

Driving through the Grand Tetons was amazing. Mommy, DeeDee, Aunt Kasey and Uncle Josh took a rafting trip down the Snake River and saw great views of the mountains.
On our first hike, we went to see the Natural Bridge. Mommy and Daddy went to the top to take this picture - you can ALMOST see me, Aunt Kasey and DeeDee sitting at the bottom...
Uncle Josh offered to give me a ride on the way back, I love to bounce - it was so much fun. I laughed the whole way back to the car.
At one of our picnics, we went exploring.

Mommy, Daddy and Me
Cruising along in my stoller. Brrrrrrr - it's COLD outside!
Making friends with the Elk
On our way up to Mammoth - we saw a Grizzly Bear. He came right up to the side of the road - we were about 30 feet away!!! Once he got real close, we decided to get back in the car, but Mommy got some good photos! It was exciting.

One of our stops near the Canyons - we saw an amazing waterfall.
Driving up to Mammoth - Mommy loves the rolling hills
During one of our drives, we saw a baby wolf by the side of the road. An absolutely beautiful creature.
Up in Mammoth, we saw two herds of Elk. The Bull Elk from both herds were roaming around the town, one of them tried to get some women from the other's herd, and that Bull Elk wasn't too happy about it. It was amazing watching the Bull Elk round up their herds. They came right up to the hotel, and the rangers has us wait until they left the area before we could move. I learned the word DANGER from a sign in front of our hotel. Mommy and Daddy were walking to the hotel at night and when they turned a corner, the Bull Elk surprised them by standing 10 feet away in between them and the hotel.
Mommy, Daddy and I up in the hills near Mammoth.
We saw Old Faithful. It was amazing seeing how much energy the geyser had to push the water so high. The sky was absolutely beautiful.
Just after the eruption.
On our last day through Yellowstone, we stopped by a beautiful lake.
I learned to throw rocks into the water, I had such a great time.
On our last day, we went to see the Ghost Town of Moram's Row. It was a beautiful afternoon, and the scenery was outstanding. I had fun playing with the bushes and rocks.
