I'm going to be a BIG SISTER!

Yep! It's true! I'm going to be a BIG SISTER. Right now, I'm not too sure what it means, but I think I'll be really excited. It looks like my little brother or sister will be arriving mid-June... we can't wait and Mommy and Daddy are so excited.

Tis the season...

I love the holiday lights. Mommy and Daddy take me through the neighborhood to see the lights and I say "WOW" at every house. When we turn a corner, I say "More Lights"!!! So fun and festive, Daddy even hung lights out at our house! As Daddy says, "This is my first attempt. We will have to keep adding more..." I think decorating the street light is next on the list.

First Kiss...

Drew is my best friend! He and I play together all day long at Ms. Bonnie's and our Mommy's work together. We went to a holiday party last night and had so much fun, we were dancing, and drinking apple juice and even saw Santa! I also got my first kiss - Drew smacked me right on the lips and my Mommy and Drew's Daddy witnessed the WHOLE THING.

Trying to get the kiss on camera...

I SAW SANTA!

Mommy and Daddy took me on a special outing, we went to see SANTA! It was like walking into a magical land with all the Christmas trees...I was awestruck! I wasn't too sure what to think of Santa, but with Mommy and Daddy with me, I was O.K.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

Merry Christmas!

Great day.

What a great day. We woke up and went to the zoo! I saw the giraffes, an elephant and some lions. We only stayed for an hour or two, we left in time for lunch and before it got really hot. Next time, I get to ride the train! I really liked the giraffes, they were eating and were real close to us!

This afternoon, Mommy and I played with paint - I created my first work of art with finger painting! I really liked smushing my hands into the paint, but as soon as my hands were dirty, I wanted Mommy to wipe the paint off.

Trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons!

We went to Wyoming! It was an awesome experience - Mommy and Daddy said I am a born traveler. We started our journey through the Grand Tetons and then through Yellowstone, and went all over the park. It was amazing. I learned all kinds of new words, like Moose, Bear, Elk, Danger...to name a few. Through this trip, I really started to communicate. Mommy and Daddy are amazed on how quickly I've grown. I'm really starting to interact, play, and tell you what I want!

A Moose was the first animal we saw - drinking water right by the side of the road.
Driving through the Grand Tetons was amazing. Mommy, DeeDee, Aunt Kasey and Uncle Josh took a rafting trip down the Snake River and saw great views of the mountains.
On our first hike, we went to see the Natural Bridge. Mommy and Daddy went to the top to take this picture - you can ALMOST see me, Aunt Kasey and DeeDee sitting at the bottom...
Uncle Josh offered to give me a ride on the way back, I love to bounce - it was so much fun. I laughed the whole way back to the car.

At one of our picnics, we went exploring.
I had SO MUCH FUN getting on and off a log.

We went up to the lakes and stopped to see some of the hot springs. While we were there, a few Elk came to visit, we were so close to them...it's amazing seeing such large animals living in the wild.

Cruising along in my stoller. Brrrrrrr - it's COLD outside!
Making friends with the Elk
We saw a herd of Bison - Daddy and I posed for a picture!

On our way up to Mammoth - we saw a Grizzly Bear. He came right up to the side of the road - we were about 30 feet away!!! Once he got real close, we decided to get back in the car, but Mommy got some good photos! It was exciting.
One of our stops near the Canyons - we saw an amazing waterfall.
Driving up to Mammoth - Mommy loves the rolling hills
During one of our drives, we saw a baby wolf by the side of the road. An absolutely beautiful creature.

Up in Mammoth, we saw two herds of Elk. The Bull Elk from both herds were roaming around the town, one of them tried to get some women from the other's herd, and that Bull Elk wasn't too happy about it. It was amazing watching the Bull Elk round up their herds. They came right up to the hotel, and the rangers has us wait until they left the area before we could move. I learned the word DANGER from a sign in front of our hotel. Mommy and Daddy were walking to the hotel at night and when they turned a corner, the Bull Elk surprised them by standing 10 feet away in between them and the hotel.

We saw Old Faithful. It was amazing seeing how much energy the geyser had to push the water so high. The sky was absolutely beautiful.
Just after the eruption.
On our last day through Yellowstone, we stopped by a beautiful lake.
I learned to throw rocks into the water, I had such a great time.
On our last day, we went to see the Ghost Town of Moram's Row. It was a beautiful afternoon, and the scenery was outstanding. I had fun playing with the bushes and rocks.
It was a great way to finish off the trip.

Year and a half update

I'm now a year and a half and I want to do everything by myself! I want to dress myself and feed myself. I even want to put on my own shoes, but sometimes I have to ask for help. I LOVE SHOES. I love to put them on, and take them off, and put them on again. I love to put Mommy's shoes on and walk around the house, although they are a bit big on me. I have a growing vocabulary, I can say approximately 40 words and I'm getting better every day. My favorite words are "Off", "All Done" and "Georgia"!

Maggie and Me

Mommy and DeeDee took my picture with Maggie at the lake, I had so much fun. One of my favorite things to do is to take Maggie for a walk, I hold on tight to her leash and we walk / run back and forth. So much fun, and such good exercise for Maggie!

Trip to San Diego

We had such a good trip to San Diego. Daddy and Mommy were nervous about the plane ride (4.5 hours!) but I did great. I told them not to worry. I played with all the buttons, the seatbelt, and my books. Once we got settled, we headed to the beach, and as you can see, I was quite tired. I woke up, and discovered the LIFE SIZED SANDBOX. WOW. I thought I was dreaming. I couldn't believe all the endless sand. SO MUCH FUN. Daddy brought me to the water's edge, but it was toooo cold for me. I had so much fun, Mo and Pops played and played with me, and we danced at the wedding reception. Welcome, Yesenia to the family!
