Christmas Kiss

Last Christmas, Drew gave Brooke her first kiss, and this year he gave her another - right in front of the Christmas tree. We went to the Nutcracker today and Brooke LOVED it! She was captivated, and towards the end she kept saying, "Mommy, I can do it! Watch me dance!" and she would start to twirl..it might be time for dance lessons.

Magic of Christmas Lights

This is such a magical time of year, our neighborhood takes on a life of its own. Driving to our house just takes your breath away, all the houses are lit up from driveway to rooftop. Merry Christmas, Electric Company! Brooke loves the lights, it is so precious to see her face light up and "WOW" written in her expression. This is going to be a great Christmas!

Meeting Santa

Well, Brooke wasn't a big fan of Santa this year. She thought he was wearing a mask with his beard and fuzzy hat. She still talks about it - how she DID NOT like to sit on Santa's lap. :) Dylan was a trooper - not too sure why his sister was screaming her little head off.

Asher's Visit!

Cousin Asher came to visit! We had so much fun - Asher sure does love to eat. Dylan was captivated by another guy his age, and Brooke was so excited to have two babies in the house!

Happy Halloween! Brooke picked out her own costume this year, she decided to be a pink cowgirl with a sword! Dylan, of course, had to join in on the theme - he was a horse.

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to a local pumpkin patch last weekend and Brooke had a BLAST! Her best friend in all the world came with us, Drew, and all she wanted to do at the beginning was find Drew. (He was meeting us there). We picked out some pumpkins, went on a wheelbarrow ride, and ended the day with fun hayride! We all had a blast, even Dylan.

Go Dawgs!

Aunt Kasey, Uncle Josh and cousin Asher came to visit us this weekend, Asher and Dylan had the same outfit and were cheering on the Dawgs! It was really good to see them, I love playing with my Aunt Kasey and Uncle Josh. Dylan and Asher had fun too, I think they will be good friends. Thanks, everyone for coming to visit! It was great to see you and we had a blast.

The Beach!

We took a family trip to the beach - it was WONDERFUL! What a great time of year to go, we practically had the entire beach and pool to ourselves. Check out some of our photos!

Pool Time!

It's the end of the summer...and Brooke has discovered that she LOVES the pool. We haven't the heart to tell her that there are only a few weeks left. Dylan just sleeps right through all the excitement.

Dylan's 2-month check-up

Dylan's 2-month check-up went well, he weighs 12 lbs. 12 oz. and is 24.25 inches tall. He didn't like his shots AT ALL..but who can blame him. Brooke went with us, she watched a video while Dylan got his shots...and on our way home she said "that was fun!".

Dylan is starting to communicate, he has just started to coo and smile over the past 2-3 days. He knows his mama, and responds to my touch and voice. He's such a sweet little guy.

Mama Brooke

Brooke has her very own daycare at our house, babies are being rotated from bouncy seat, to swing, to carseat, to pack-n-play and then to their "crib", where they go to sleep for a little while, covered in blankets. The house rule: only one baby is allowed in one place at a time. :)

Dylan's 3-week update

Dylan went in for his 3-week doctor visit today and he is doing great! 9 lbs, 8 oz. and 22.0 inches long. Healthy as can be and growing fast. He is a good little guy...loves to sleep and eat. He's been sleeping good at night and his Mommy and Daddy are very thankful!

Brooke is doing great - she calls him her "little guy" and says he is "very cute". She is starting to spontaniously give him kisses and hugs (gentle hugs) and loves to get Dylan his passy and a blanket to "cover up". We have a baby theme going on at the Kluchar household, it's all about our babies and rotating them from swing, to carseat, to bouncy seat...Brooke has her own daycare going on. Even piglet gets put into the mix now and then. Below are some photos... we hope you enjoy!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! What a blessed day - our first with both Brooke and Dylan. Thanks, John for being such a wonderful father to our children. We love you!

Welcome Dylan!

We were blessed this week with a beautiful baby boy...Brooke is so excited to be a big sister. She's been terrific, bringing Dylan toys, blankets and his passy whenever he cries. He's such a sweet baby, such a blessing. Below is a quick video - check out the ending, he has a surprise for you! :)

Brooke's Graduation from Ms. Bonnie's!

I officially graduated with HIGH HONORS from Ms. Bonnie's - I even received my own diploma! Mommy, Daddy, DeeDee and Mo were there to cheer me on, and Ms. Bonnie dressed me up in my very own cap and gown. There was a red carpet for me to walk down and we ended the celebration with cookies!!! I'm going to miss Ms. Bonnie's...especially my friends Drew, Ian, Nathan, Adian and Baby Alex.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this photo! We spent Mother's Day with DeeDee, Mo and Mommy & Daddy - Mommy took this shot while I was laughing at DeeDee and Mo... it truly captures my spirit and smile.

Drew is my best friend. He came over this weekend to play and I was so excited to see him! We took turns taking each other for rides in my baby's stroller.

Pig Tails!

I let Mommy put pigtails in my hair for the very first time...She and Daddy were so excited. I even posed for a picture!

It's a BOY!

We had our 20-week ultrasound today and it's a BOY! So exciting, Brooke is going to have a little brother! Everything's on track - the baby is healthy and growing right on schedule. The ultrasound was amazing, we could see 5 fingers and 5 little toes, he was sucking his thumb and we could see the little bubbles coming up. So precious. So thankful... it's such a little miracle.

After the ultrasound, we took Brooke to the Aquarium. She LOVED the fish! There was one area that was her favorite, she didn't want to leave. We got some cute photos on John's camera phone. She loved the fish. It was a great day.
