Day 3 at Disney - Evening Parade

Last night was fantastic! The kids took a LONG nap, woke up energized, and we went back to the park for the electrical parade, magic show and fireworks.  UNBELIEVABLE.  Mommy and Daddy felt like kids again. The electrical parade was 25 minutes of outstanding floats, followed by a laser show on Cinderella's castle that caused everyone's mouths to drop. I looked over at Brooke and Dylan and I wish I could have captured their faces - utter amazement and both mouths wide open.  After the show, 15 min or so of fireworks - outstanding.  Definitely a highlight of the trip, Mommy and Daddy are trying to figure out when we are going back.  Maybe tonight. 

After the show, Brooke turned to us and said, "One of my wishes just came true. I didn't know I wished for it, but it just came true."

Today was a day at the pool, I think we all needed the break and a day of relaxation.

Day 3 at the Magic Kingdom!

Great day. It rained a little, but didn't dampen our spirits. Brooke and Dylan were super excited to go to the park, and we rode lots of rides (Dylan rode his first roller coaster!), had a yummy snack and lunch on the WDW RailRoad Train, and Brooke FINALLY got to meet Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Princess Belle and Princess Cinderella.  Her face was full of awe and amazement when we walked into the room, Princess Aurora welcomed Brooke with open arms and Brooke ran right to her.  We wished we videotaped, it was such a priceless moment.  Afterwards, we all went to meet Mickey and Minnie, and when we were done, Dylan yelled out "I'm a Big Boy!!" :) He was super excited.

Day 2 at Disney! Today, we went to the Animal Kingdom, it was fantastic.  NO CROWDS! We couldn't believe it - we walked right up to most of the rides and the longest wait was probably 10 min.  We had a good plan of action - we straight for the safari (20 min jeep ride) and saw Giraffes, Rhinos, Ostrichs, Elephants, Hippos, and several I don't remember.  This was Dylan's favorite part of the day.

We then went to see the Lion King Musical, and then for Brooke's favorite part - the Triceratops ride.  SHE LOVED IT.  I'm sure we will be riding the flying Dumbo several times tomorrow.  Afterwards, our favorite part - a Finding Nemo Musical, that was incredible. At the end, bubbles came down everywhere and the kids went crazy.

Day 1 at Disney!!! We strolled into Orlando right at 2pm and made it to the Magic Kingdom JUST IN TIME for the afternoon parade, which started at 3pm. Good trial run for us all, it was the perfect way to kick off our trip.  And most importantly, Brooke was able to see the Princess FIRST!  (That is all she wants to do). :)
